Joshua and I went on a day trip together with Jessica and Ryder while my mom took Avonlea up to Aunt Jenny's house.  We went to Port Discovery in Baltimore City.  It was so much fun.  It was our first time there and we will definitely be going back.  Joshua and Ryder had a blast together! My dear grandfather passed away on Sunday, September 18.  He was 90 years old.  Although I am saddened and will miss him greatly, I know he is in a better place where his suffering and ailments will no longer trouble him.  I am thankful that Joshua and Avonlea were able to meet him.  He was a wonderful man who lived a life full of accomplishments, love, and happiness.  I love you Pop Pop.

Back on May 31, Kevin turned the big three-oh!  I had all kinds of grand plans for his birthday (a surprise party, lots of expensive presents, a hot date) but I failed miserably.  I did manage however to pull out a few surprises.  I stayed up super late the night before taping pictures on the wall in the shape of a 30.  It turned out awesome!  We also have a NYC trip planned for just the 2 of us

I am definitely not one of those crafty people. Sometimes I wish I was, but it's just not there. I've tried. I am not creative and when I try to be, it usually turns out wrong in so many ways. Finally! It's been hard to blog because we've been so busy around here! Kevin has been in Logan Monday-Friday. He just started the MBA program at Utah State. I finished my school year and have been on full mommy duty for 2 weeks now. I love it! It's so wonderful to be home with Joshie. A couple weeks ago we were lucky to have our good friend Aaron Eskaran take some family photos for us.
